Iration is an alternative/reggae group of musicians formed in Isla
Vista, CA. The group is made up of members Joseph Dickens
(drums), Joseph King (Engineer), Cayson Peterson
(Keyboard/Synth), Micah Pueschel (Guitar/Vox), Kai Rediske
(Vocal/Percussion) and Adam Taylor (Bass). All members met while
growing up in Hawaii but formed Iration after reconnecting in Santa
Barbara, Ca. They have since released two fulllength albums, Time
Bomb (2010) and No Time for Rest (2007), as well as three EP’s, New
Roots (2006), Sample This EP (2008) and Fresh Grounds (2011).
Time Bomb, which has sold 30K+ copies, hit #1 on the iTunes reggae
album chart and remains within the top 20 on Billboard’s Reggae
Album Chart to this day. Time Bomb included: “Turn Around” (which
spent 11 weeks at #1 on San Diego’s 91X, hit #1 on Riverside’s KCXX
and on Santa Barbara’s KJEE, was in rotation at Honolulu’s KUCD
and Sacramento’s KKDO, as well as being streamed on LA based
KROQ), “Time Bomb”(which reached #1 on Santa Barbara’s KJEE),
and “Falling”(the single that has moved 70K units since inclusion on
Time Bomb and Sample This EP, was an iTunes Discovery Download,
also reached #1 on Santa Barbara’s KJEE, and #3 on Honolulu’s
KUCD). Their most recent release Fresh Grounds which debuted at #1
on the Billboard Heatseeker’s Chart and #114 on the Billboard Top
200 chart. The single from their Fresh Grounds EP “Summer Nights”
reached #2 on the iTunes reggae singles chart. Combined, Iration has
sold hundreds of thousands of singles from their recording catalog.
The true essence of Iration is best captured live where they are able to
fully demonstrate their original brand of soulful, melody driven
reggae, pop and rock.

They recently finished recording their 3rd fulllength album
Automatic. The album combines elements of reggae, rock and pop to
create a truly unique listening experience. Automatic includes
production and instrumentation from Lincoln Parish, the guitarist
from Kentucky's band Cage the Elephant, as well as the band’s
previous studio, partner JP Hesser. The album also includes guest
appearances by keyboardist Rami Jaffee (Wallflowers, Foo Fighters)
and Jessy Greene (Foo Fighters, Wilco, Atmosphere) on strings. The
first single from Automatic, “Porcupine,” was released September 11
2012 on the band’s own 3 Prong Records and has since been in
rotation on multiple radio stations in Southern California, CO
Springs, and AL. Iration's full length version of Automatic is due out
in 2013.

Iration have been touring nationally since 2008, have performed at
festivals such as: Lollapalooza , Wakarusa, Sierra Nevada World
Music Festival; and headlined several successful national headline
club tours that have included multiple sold out shows throughout the
country. In an effort to begin promoting new music, this winter 2013
Iration will embark on a US western regional headline tour with
support from east coast friends Passafire and So Cal's Pacific Dub.
These Hawaiian-raised musicians look forward to spreading their
original sound and aloha spirit as far as possible while never
forgetting to get a surf in when possible.

Passafire & Ballyhoo!
Passafire & Ballyhoo! On Passafire’s fourth album release, Start From Scratch, the Savannah, GA based Rock outfit is truly starting from scratch. Injected with energy from a new member (keyboardist Mike DeGuzman), a freshly formed band-owned label (FlameGuy Records) and a new producer, Paul Leary (Butthole Surfers, Sublime, Meat Puppets), the band have made their best album to date. Trekking down to Sonic Ranch outside of El Paso, TX, where Connor Oberst, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Sublime and many more recently recorded, they expand their sound from their previous releases; deeply honing guitar tones, exploring synth sounds, and laying down tracks of Harmonica and Banjo. “We always wanted to have a good balance of organic and synthesized sounds and we finally had the chance to make that happen this time,” recollects singer, Ted Bowne. Songs like “Dimming Sky,” “Lorelie, and the title track, “Start From Scratch,” exemplify this newly found balance.

Passafire was formed in 2003 by students attending Savannah College of Art and Design. Throughout the years they have become a perpetually touring band playing hundreds of shows a year with bands like 311, Pepper, Rebelution, Matisyahu, Michael Franti, The Wailers and many more. Bowne doesn’t mind the grueling schedule and adds, “Touring is the best way to keep the buzz about the band going. What keeps it fun and exciting is the people we meet and places we get to see. We are in a new city every day so there’s always something to go see or do. If we didn’t tour constantly, we wouldn’t be doing as well as we are. That’s a fact.”

BALLYHOO! is undeniably turning the world of music upside down and sideways as they blur the lines between rock, reggae, punk and pop to craft their own hybrid of music that can’t be held down to one definitive genre. This signature sound of theirs is one they have been perfecting since their high school days in Aberdeen, Maryland - the sweet melodic voice of lead singer and guitarist Howi Spangler; the hard hitting beats set forth by brother and drummer Donald “Big D” Spangler; the skillfully added funk of bassist JR Gregory and Scott Vandrey (aka DJ Blaze) rounds it out on the turntables and keys.

BALLYHOO!’s unique sound, hardcore devotion to the road and to their fans, partnered with their irresistible “life of the party” approach have pitched them into the position of America’s favorite feel good party band. They didn’t get here by accident; rather, they had been single-handedly growing their empire through unparalleled hard work and dedication until Jan 2011, when they got a well-deserved nod from LAW Records and were signed to the Hawaii-based independent record label. Yesod Williams of the dub rock music mega-sensation PEPPER and owner of LAW Records says of his newest addition, “Having BALLYHOO! join the LAW Records family is a perfect fit. They are an incredibly talented band with a really catchy style”. Now, with the backing of LAW, 2011 promises to be a paramount year on BALLYHOO!’s trajectory destined for greatness!

BALLYHOO! has toured the country with some of the biggest and most respected names in the reggae rock genre – 311, Authority Zero, Pepper, The Supervillains. “It’s always intimidating when playing for another band’s crowd, you never know how they’re gonna react,” explains front man Howi, “but then you see that they’re enjoying it and the worry goes away. You’re free to rock at that point!”.
